Come together shortly after Winter Solstice for a virtual gathering to honor all who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy in the past calendar year. During the time when ever more light slowly starts to illuminate our days, we turn to nature to remind us of the brightness that inevitably follows and co-exists with the darkness of loss.

We will simultaneously hold all that wishes to be held: the remembrance of the fragility of life, our bodies’ magnificent power and intelligence, grief, hope and love. We will connect with the ways we were stretched and the growth that necessarily transpired.

By gathering together and sharing our experiences, we normalize loss as part of the human experience and life cycle, and remember we are never alone. This is an opportunity to shift the trajectory of pregnancy loss from one that is often quite solitary and isolating to a path that is steeped in and supported by the collective wisdom and empathy of community.

Our experience will include time for meditation and reflection, as well as the opportunity to share what is alive in our hearts while also holding space to witness others.

This approximately one-hour live session will take place Monday, December 23 at 5:30 p.m. Pacific / 8:30 p.m. Eastern via Zoom.

Anyone who has experienced a pregnancy loss (regardless of gestational age) in 2024 is invited to attend. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, or abortion/elective loss for any reason.

If you cannot attend and wish to have your name spoken aloud during our ceremony, please email me (contact button is at the bottom of this page) and you will be included with us in that way.

OPTIONAL DONATION: This virtual event is free, and an optional donation is welcomed but not necessary. All funds received from this event will go towards providing free pregnancy loss doula services in 2025 to individuals and families who would otherwise be unable to afford them. Instructions for donating will be provided to all who register.
